Image generation
Pictures from a description, kept on your computer.
Ask for a picture ("draw a cat in a hat") and the answer shows a frame that shimmers while the image is made — Generating image, Refining details — and the picture appears in the same frame when it is ready. Click to zoom; use the download button or right-click to save or copy it.
Image generation uses OpenAI's image models with your OpenAI key (GPT Image needs a verified organization). Under Settings → Built-in Tools → Image Generation choose the Model, Size, Quality, Output Format, Background and Generated Counts (1–10 images per request).
Every image is saved in ~/.actovia/media/ the moment it arrives, so it is
still there after a restart. Deleting the chat deletes its images. Exports do
not include them.
