Actovia

Quick Chat, search & export

Ask from the menu bar, find any chat, search a page, and take a conversation with you.

Quick Chat

Click Actovia's icon in the menu bar (Ody's head) and a small Quick Chat bar appears on the screen your pointer is on: How can I help you today? Type and press Enter — the main window comes forward and the question starts a new chat there. Click the icon again to put the bar away. Right-click the icon for Show App / Hide App and Quit Actovia.

Turn the menu bar icon off in Settings → General → Menu bar.

Search chats

Search chats in the sidebar (⌘⇧F) finds a chat by its title or by anything said in it. Each result shows the chat and a few matching snippets; pick one to open it. With an empty search the dialog lists your recent chats.

Find in page

⌘F opens a find bar under the header: type, and matches are highlighted with a count such as 1/3. Enter and Shift+Enter move between them; Esc closes the bar. It closes by itself when you switch chats.

Export a chat

In the chat header, Chat options → Export as Markdown… or Export as PDF… saves the conversation: your messages and Actovia's answers, with the tools used and the pictures attached noted in place.
