Backups & export
Daily backups, a portable export, and starting over.
Settings → Data Controls looks after the data in
~/.actovia.
Backups
- Automatic Backups — a backup every day at 3:00 AM, kept in
~/.actovia/backups/. - Back Up Now — one straight away. Last Backup and Recent Backups show what you have.
The CLI does the same: actovia backup.
The iPhone app shows the backups too, under Settings → Backups.
Export & import
- Export Data — a ZIP of your conversations, settings and other data, to keep or move. API keys and other secrets are left out, and generated images are not included.
- Import Data — restores from an export, replacing everything there is now. A backup is made first.
Danger zone
Delete All Data erases conversations, memories, research and documents; your settings and API keys stay. A backup is made first, and you type DELETE to confirm.
